I swear, I don't get newborns, like hardly EVER! And it's a bummer, because I really do love them. I always feel a fresh wave of respect for those who specialize in newborn photography after doing one of these sessions...everything is so much harder than it looks. Getting baby to sleep, posing, the little details...fingers, toes, blankets, coping with feeding breaks, pee & poo (haha)...the MASSIVE amount of junk you have to haul around (and I don't even do baskets and boxes and buckets much). I was exhausted after this FIVE hour session. I just wanted to get some up for CC...lots more to go through. I'm in no way a newborn rock star...I struggle with posing, and backdrops, but I hope these look ok. I'd love to be awesome at this someday.
Remember this gorgeous mama?

A before & after of #3...I seriously struggled with my wrinkled blankets WAY more than her skin. She had beautiful skin!

6 (SO glad I convinced her to take some Mommy & baby shots...she was feeling tired and 'postpartum' like all mamas do after having a baby...but I love this shot)
