Here is one of my sorority sisters who is graduating. I did some grad pics for her, and have a few more coming up with other sisters so please give me honest critique!

Can I get some serious critique on this one? It was my first time using strobes outdoors...

The background doesn't do much for me. With all the foliage around, I think you coulda got her closer and still blurred out the background. Exposures look good though.

2, 3, & 4 have a lot of headroom. I would add a little contrast, but I lean towards contrasty pics. I like the blurred backgrounds.

hey I'm sorry but I don't like these pictures - the colors & shadows (on her face) are very noticed and make this pictures, in my opinion, not good at all. \=

These aren't bad, but here are my thoughts. The first two shots are good, but you need to light up the eyes better. Fill flash would have worked here. The third shot is centered and to the right side. It would look better following the rule of thirds with her head about one-third below the top. The fourth has her dress showing out from under her gown. The fifth would have been perfect, if she had just smiled!

My monitor sucks so take this with a grain of salt but to me, all but the last one are over-exposed. She doesn't seem to thrilled to be having her picture taken in the last one though. I guess I'm with Eden. I think lighting her from the side would make the lighting more feminine.
