Gaudy print question

Taking these two images, assuming IQ is no problem, how big could/would you print, for a wall hanger, before gaudy sets in?

Chauncey, what exactly are you asking for? Is it whether the shot printed big would look to, well, like not enough of it has good focus?

Not "good" as much as "appropriate" Tony. I'm trying to determine if larger than 11 x 14 would look gaudy/garish hanging on a wall in your LR.

I'd say,"Let it all hang out." Gaudy is the new gorgeous. But be careful, your wife might retaliate by wanting new drapes.

Seriously, if the originals have the sharpness for it, I wouldn't limit them because of color.
