How's it working for you? Much much better then the YN pack, the first one I got had the same issue, sent it back but the second they sent me is and has been kicking a$$ so far. The only thing is that the tray is a touch hard to get in and out but manageable for $21.00. ShotsInTime

The significant differences are: Canon; nice electronics, tray tabs broke easily YN; less sophisticated looking electronics, contacter tabs could be problematic, tray tabs are durable. (Canon and YN trays are interchangable) Pixel: has two circuits to high voltage interface with flash, if one fails other one will continue to function. Early versions had problems with contactor tabs. The last three I purchased have been very good performers. Out of the three I think the Pixel pack would be the better choice, but they all look the same, as far as the internals go I never said there was no difference. ShotsInTime

They make a buzzing sound, I don't remember a click from them, or from the pixelhk either. Go figure. But my YN packs never made a clicking sound. ShotsInTime

If I hold the unit up to my ear, it's still not as loud as it is in the video. I usually wear it on my belt, and it's hardly audible at all. If there's any background noise in the room, you wouldn't even notice it. I did get mine last year, though. I'm not really sure if it's the old or new version gordon
