Took this shot during IFO (Import Face Off) in Houston. I am very green when it comes to photography, but I have been trying to learn as much as possible. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not digging the 2-tone processing. (I'm assuming it's the processing, else if the owner actually painted his car that way... poor car.)

Did you dodge-n-burn or was this an HDR attempt?

It was an HDR attempt using Oloneo PE.

It seems too dark on the top of the car and I can't tell if its real or not. The cracks in the road make it look small.

stay away from hdr pleeeeaaaaase! its such a poor way to learn to edit automotive photos IMO. its got decent composition save for the empty space above the car. clean up the car a bit with its origional shot. id like to see what you started with.

here's my quick 5 min edit of that pic ^

adjusted levels, brightness, contrast, removed crack, removed weird hood reflection, sharpened up a bit and voila

RL. Thanks for the edit. It does look much better, I will try to get the same results as you. I think it would serve me as good practice.
