Hey everyone, I just recently got to shoot with the 135L for the first time. This lens really does work magic. Unfortunately we were only able to do the shoot between 1-4:30 pm in the bright Florida sun. Most of the time I had a hard time getting the lighting on her just right but we managed to pull off some decent shot I think.

Really feeling the set, beautiful model. The lighting in #2 is a little harsh, butstill vey nice. The framing overall works, i guess i would prefer it if the hands werent cut off in these pictures. But like i saod early, really feeling the set. Loved it!

Oh and #3 and #5 are my favorites, i like 4 too, and wanted to comment on the fact that sometimes people shot square on just dont work, but i like it here in this situation, good job

Thanks for the comments :) . The timing of the shoot was bad in terms of lighting. The sun was definitely too bright and was right above us with not a single cloud nearby. I also tend to cut off hands and feet a lot :( it's something I still haven't been able to get used to looking for while shooting. Thanks again!

very gorgeous model and a nice image set. I am debating between picking up the 135L or the 35L.... the IQ is amazing.

Nice shots. I agree with Niveks on the cutting of the hands. Another thing i would like to point out for future referent is that in all the shots, looks like the same expression. Other then those two things, they are great. Good job

Thanks again guys :)

Aemravan, I would simply consider what you need/want to shoot the most and the pick out the right lens. Either lens is an amazing piece of glass but two very different focal lengths. I chose the 135L because I do a lot of portrait work.

TauntDevil, thanks, and I know I always cut off the hands :( I always beat it into my head to watch out for that but still seem to miss it. The pics I posted did have the same expressions but there were some other where she was smiling. There was a total of like 150 photos edited so I'll post a few others:

Great shots! One thing that was extremely helpful to me was stop looking for good locations and start looking for good lighting! As someone said before, she is indeed quite dangerous ;) Nice start to the new lens!

I agree, lighting makes or breaks the photos! Problem wasmshe could only do the shoot at that time of the day which is the time I always avoid lol. I'm just very picky about locations as well. I like to have the model interact with the environment and I'm also a sucker for colorful surroundings.

Thanks for the compliments :)
