I have one of those "early 2009" Mac Pros. I upgraded the video card to an nvidia GeForce but I can't remember which one, and because it took a crap last night, I can't boot it up to find out.

My requirements:
CS5 compatible (external link)
•Dual [DVI] displays
•Maybe in the future: 5Dmk2/3 video editing

Which video card do you recommend for my application?

This is what happens when I boot up my Mac, which is a video card issue, right?

You'll have to visit Apple's web page for a replacement card since they are flashed to be compatible with Mac Pros. You can't just get an off-the-shelf card (although that appears to be changing).

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Not sure about the older ones, but with the newer ones thats changing right? I was under the impression with the newer ones you could use any as long as there were drivers for it?

Yes, the 10.6.7 update introduced drivers for a number of cards that Apple does not sell, thus the speculation that the new Mac Pros (and maybe the older as well) will have expanded gpu support.

lol it's actually a first gen 2006 Mac Pro, I don't know what I was thinking.

Looks like my options are even more limited. I'll probably have to get another 8800 GT or maybe an ATI HD 4870
