I have this same problem.
RAW pics is processed and it looks good on LR.
After exporting it as JPEG, it becomes orangy/reddish in tint.

What I do is to shoot in RAW and apply flash WB in DPP and that seems to do it. I tehn quickly compare side by side with some of Rob's (TMRDESIGN), or other images that seemt o have good skin tone, and make small tweaks. However, I once in a while get "the skin looks orange/pink" comment from some and "skin looks great" from others. It also depends on the viewer's monitors!

See this is what I was trying to go for in PP, even if the pose isnt right or what not, was just trying to test the color's. The PP came out very orangy for me once I exported, but looks lighter in LR.

Its gotta be a color space issue so I am going to have to track it down before I edit any more photos.

Thanks for the help guys, Ill keep at this and if I find the solution ill post it up.

One quick question though:

both my bodies are set to AdobeRGB. Lightroom, according to to Adobe, is previewing pictures in AdobeRGB space. Then I export them into sRGB. I am wondering if losing the colors going from AdobeRGB to sRGB is causing the orange tint. I will have to test this.

The color tables don't align all that well.

As a test, set your camera's color space to sRGB and see what happens.

Both have a very odd skin tone.

The first pic you posted, aside from being a little overexposed and lacking some contrast, had the best skin tone on screen.

I have tried to play around with it, but the tone is still definintly wierd. I used a grey card to set a nuetral white balance, but it still comes out pretty weird.

The only other thing I can think of for the skin tone, is the ambiet room light is one of those CFL's that has a natural orange cast to it in the room anyways.

Maybe its the combination of flash+ambient cfl.

Unless that light source is right next to your subject or it's a few hundred watts, it shouldn't be contributing, and that's not what it looks like, but again, do the tests on thee variables to make sure you've covered all bases.

Does the L-308s have the ability to tell you how much of the exposure is ambient/flash like the L-358?

It does not, but I can take separate ambient readings at the subject if needed.

I would say the light source was 8ft from the subject, camera right/rear
