Want to use this body as my backup and sports shooting. I use my 5d MK ii for all my portrait work. I would be selling my 1d MK iiN to fund this new body.

AlanU Cream of the Crop More info | May 04, 2011 19:23 | #8 You will find a 1dmk3 a good body but I find that this body tends to change kelvin settings from warm tones to cold in different angles of light. IMO the 1dmk3 sucks in this regard. Your 5dmk2 will never shift temperatures like this body. I've had other 1dmk3 owners PM me aswell about terrible metering. 5Dmkiv |5Dmkiii | 24LmkII | 85 mkII L | | 16-35L mkII | 24-70 f/2.8L mkii| 70-200 f/2.8 ISL mkII| 600EX-RT x2 | 580 EX II x2 | Einstein's

What he said. I had a 1DsII for a while and the iDIII will be a noticeable improvement on higher ISO performance. The 1DIII has MFA which is a nice feature.
