Local prices by me when I got mine last month was $125 for the cheapest, but only 1 place had 1 in stock (which I bought), the rest did not know when they would get more in. A handful were out of stock with a $135 price tag. And 1 place had 'a few in stock' from what i was told, for $150...

thrifty fifty's arent so thrifty any more... but still cheap compared to everything else...

Egh. Well best buy charger above and beyond retail on EVERYTHING. But im guessing the prices are going up due to the fact japan is having a bit of trouble..

That is $109 for a refurb which really doesn't mean anything but to some, they don't want refurb. I couldn't find any on craigslist at all in Cincinnati (where I am now), Columbus (where I will be next week) and back home in Boston.

Sure is. But hard to find the 50mm, well not hard but hard to find someone who hasn't sold one.

I did find a EX430 II flash for $230. Picking it up Sunday. Pretty much new. Never used

You can get the EF 50 F/1.8 II for about $109 CDN this weekend at Futureshop.ca with the discount code SAVE15LENSES. And if you're in Canada you get free shipping as well.

The last 3 I've seen here on potn went for 80-90. if you want to save a few bucks, just wait a little, it'll come up soon enough. after all, $50 is a full tank of gas
