My new to me 1D3 should be here tomorrow and to try and keep myself from going insane with anticipation I have been doing a lot of research. I came across the threads for FlexNR and have a question for the masses. I run a MacBook with both OSX and a Windows 7 partition. I have two CS4 licenses and LR 3 which can be installed on both OS's on my computer. I also have a full Pro License of the Neat Image Plugin. Normally all of my photographic-related computing is done on the OSX side but the FlexNR threads have me wondering if I should switch things up with the new camera coming.

Is it worth it for me to transfer one of my CS4 licenses to the Windows side of the house, install LR 3 on my BOOTCAMP drive, transfer the Neat Image License to the Windows side (I will still have LR noise redux and Imagenomic's Noiseware for the OSX side), and get a copy of FlexNR? Am I going to see that much of a result over using LR and Noiseware (I don't even use Neat Image in my workflow anymore)? Thanks in advance.

Mods, it's late and I wasn't really paying attention. This totally doesn't belong here. If someone could please move it the Post-Processing forum I would appreciate it. My apologies.

You're probably better off contacting the author of the software. His username is PIXmantra. Here is a thread where you can see his work for the 1D3 if you haven't already:

By the way, congrats on the camera!
