Morning all

I've just purchased a Canon EOS 60D, I've taken a few shots in RAW but Photoshop won't read them. Anyone know why or what the solution is ? it keeps telling it's the wrong kind of file.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

Cheers

L

You need to update the ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) plugin to enable this camera to be used with Elements 8. (version 6.2 I believe?)

You should be able to check for updates under the 'Help' menu of the program.

Yes be careful, I installed in the wrong directory my first time, not fun.

I now have Elements 9, it downloads, installs & Updates your ACR version automatically. Might be my favorite feature on PSE 9. I don't know why they didn't have it on earlier versions.
