Just looking to find out what people think is their most important reason for buying a 5D mkII over other cameras.

Full frame non-pro body (those pro bodies are too heavy for my wrists and pocket) with High resolution and high iso performance.

All of the above?

And it's a smaller/lighter body compared to a 1-series.

Thanks for the replies, but please Vote for what is the 'most' important for you, as I want to compare what feature 5Dii users value the most.

I bought it for the higher ISO but I went from a 5D so FF was a given but not relevant in this case.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

I voted other because I was content with 5Dc's FF and T2i's Video.

But Continental One Pass Miles for Merchandise program price of $2,113 was hard to pass up and now I have both FF and Video on one body.

Answer FF ( top priority )
FF, MP, Video
...along with the 18 month no-interest from Best Buy. And I happened to be in tax free Oregon that day.

Full-frame sensor, which results in better IQ and higher ISO capabilities. It is also a full-frame, non-pro body.

Bingo.

Price vs performance and the 5d2 delivered in the sweet spot when I needed to buy. Would have preferred a few things that exist on the 7d and will probably be on the mk3 but its not here just now...
