How to create bright lights behind model in Lightroom?

Ive tried searching, but i dont know the technical term which makes it hard for me.

I'd like to edit some "spotlights/glamour lights" behind the model on lightroom if anyone can point me in the right direction. not sure of the term exactly.

You cannot create light that isn't there...
You could try using a local adjustment brush, set to lighten the image, at the spot you want.

This can be done in Photoshop quite easily but in Lightroom I don't think so. I am not sure if the new layers thing that OnOne is bringing to the market will let you do this in Lightroom, I haven't tried it. The suggestion by Rene using the local adjustment brush seems to be the most reasonable for doing it in Lightroom and the video that carshop linked is a good example of how to do it quickly in photoshop.
