This morning in Nassau...the construction is part of Atlantis - Sol Kerzner once again destroying the ambience and skyline of Paradise Island. Still, I thought the cranes and skeletal building looked kinda neat silhouetted against the morning light. Taken with ND 0.6 filter and lens hood. F/16, 1/200, iso400, 75-300mm lens @ 300mm.

The only sunrise I have is an old one!

Pardon the low resolution as it was "Before Canon" or BC!!!

Just in case anyone missed it in my "angry sky" thread, here is my best sunrise shot, as it's pretty much my ONLY sunrise shot. :D

Pretty tones, I like the way the sun looks as though it is nestled in the cloud haze.

Oops! This was supposed to be a sunrise thread. That was actually a sunset. Blond moment.

Seems like the "Show us you best sunsets" thread is much more popular than this one.
Earlier risers are apparently in the minority.

Well, if no one else is going to post theirs, then I'll add one more of mine taken in Maine last Summer with my Canon 400mm.

Certainly my best one i would say. Guess im not an early riser most of the time, but had to be up at 5am for field work this day. This view made it slightly more bearable.

Oh, and some of the other shots here are really quite excellent.

Do you mean feet, or meters?

Fantastic shots... all of them really.

I don't seem to be in the photographic mood most mornings, not untill my fist cup of tea at least.

This shot is from today. Taken with the 50 1.8 at Mon Repos beach, near Bundaberg, Australia.

No matter how hard I try I can't seem to find a sunset over the ocean where I live!? :D

Cheers

Sean
