Do you feel like you need a 70-200 when you shoot weddings? If so, then upgrading will be worth it.

Personally I would upgrade your mid-range lens to something faster, or get a normal prime (maybe a 35L). And make sure you have backup bodies/flashes/lenses if you don't already.

whats the setup of the wedding?

Indoors?
-Can you use flash in the chapel/church/synagogue?
Outdoors?
-If outdoors, what hour is the ceremony? Where will the light be coming from? (backlight, sidelight, high noon, frontlight)

I would go with faster mid-range primes.

The football team pic got posted in the wrong thread somehow, but it is a professional women's league. In regards to the 70-200 f2.8 II, it is a great lens for weddings, but I prefer it on full frame for this role.

Yeah.. don't think the 15-85 will be of much use, unless you use a flash, or for outside shots.

I wanna try and stay away from flash, id kind of set my self on picking up the 24L and Sigma 85, and might get the SIgma 50 too, but dont really fancy buying the 50L at this point!

Why? I get wanting to have ability not to be forced to use flash, but the ability to use a flash ought to be part of any wedding shooters kit.

Depends on you, but for me f2.8 + IS = better than primes :)

The ability to go from 70-200 is also nice.
