DIY Dolly & Technicolor Test!

So I thought I'd post a real quick test I did today with a DIY camera dolly and the new Technicolor Cinestyle profile for Canon.

Actually 'cause my friend built it for me, I don't really know how he did it! Once it's had its finishing touches from him, I'll get some more info and proper diagrams of its construction!

I imagine it wasn't very expensive, cost of the metal tubing plus skateboard wheels and bearings wasn't much. He made the bolts/axls I think

Yeah all the effort went into having the best metal for the rails and the smoothest bearings... I think we settled on ABEC 7, as 5's stuck a little bit when there wasn't much load... and anything more than 7 would just shoot across the rails at the slightest touch :p (plus the expense!)

That's what I found with my own DIY dolly as well. The 7's are where it's at.
