Some top shots showing up in this thread! Rib: That's Matt Halls plane no?

Just found these three I took a while back.....I don't get to real airports as often as I'd like to! but the F-18 was a fast and tiny sucker! First two were at 1/80th second was 1/100. The second image was the repair job post "low flying antics"......after I put the camera down of course!

I am getting really hooked on this type of shot for aircraft, full or RC....Hence this thread. If it comes out right, it adds so much to it, and it makes it a real challenge. RC stuff will blur the prop at 1/500th on most planes, but it gets monotonous pretty quickly.

Gracias!

Same airport at probably around the same time of day.

Better framing on this one though I think.

This is not the best, but I wanted to catch one of the planes as it taxied by and get some prop blur with my camera set at 1/25 second. Panning with the aid of a tripod.

I agree totally, Awesome pilots, awesome photo!!! What is the little prop in between the gear? Some kind of pump for the spray?
