that's a sweet shot of a sweet plane Jwol!

nothing as pretty, just some tubes, but I was down at Sydney airport recently so I took the opportunity to get in some practice. Not perfect but def my best shots down this slow so far. There is a reason I can only post 2!

There was one small tube of sunlight on this one through a hole in the clouds right before sundown.

1/10th @ 160mm.

I got the fin clean enough but the front of the plane not so much! Also I notice the engine is not so bad, but the winglets are ordinary. Is this a parallax issue thing? I wasn't square to the runway at the time of the shot, it was past me by this stage as you can tell, and the runway is also going away from me slightly.

Yes, you are seeing the effects of parallax. The lower the shutter speed, the more pronounce the effect will be. Also, the closer to the subject you are, the more pronounce the parallax effect will be.

Cheers Jwol, I did think that initially but then I though that as I was over 400 meters away from the plane and "only" at 160mm I thought that maybe it was something else like maybe I unknowingly rotated the right side of the camera even just a fraction with the centre of movement coincidentally on the tail?
I figured it wasn't simply the plane starting to rotate as the tail goes down as much as the nose goes up.....and the fact it's still rolling on all three of course.

I think it's probably more a case of me just overthinking stuff.....again!
