I'm trying to standardize the keywords that I use and I'm wondering what kind of keywords that you guys use for a couple posing together in a picture whether it's at dinner or at a party? I know there are lists of controlled vocabularies, but are any of them free so that I can use it as a reference?

People, Couple, Party, Jill, John, Anniversary(etc.)

You could add the location details - i.e. 'Savoy Hotel' or 'Hotel Califonia' etc.

Depends on why you are key wording. If it is for yourself, it could be pretty basic. If it is for a stock agency it needs to be vast and specific.

What if it was for stock? How would you approach the situation?

Check out the agency -- they often provide guidelines for keywording, and can handle things in different ways. And, check out the images there for examples.
