During a recent family session, I promised this boy I'd take some fun shots of him jumping off a rock. After all, what boy doesn't like to jump? As I gave him his count down and steadied myself for the jump, this is what I saw in my viewfinder. I just loved his pure expression of joy as he got ready for take off.

Thanks, Melissa! I'll try to post the jump shot, hopefully with the rest of the series, soon!

Totally in the moment.. :) Just look at that little face! I love it. You could really play up some cool sunflare with that light coming from camera right if you wanted to mess around. :)

Looking forward the the rest of the series.. looks like an awesome location. :)

Thanks, Kristy! We think alike because I thought about playing up the sunflare as well!

What a great shot!! I love his expression, of course, but I also love how tiny he looks in comparison to all the nature around him! The trees, the rocks, everything is so big compared to him but his happiness is the hugest thing I see! Hopefully that makes sense :) Can't wait to see the big jump...
