Beautiful. They're worth the walk by the looks of that.
Interesting that they're wide (for our standard here) and appears to be an even flow full width.
Be quite a sight in flood.
Lovely scenic photo.

Avondale thanks.
I'm working on a 15 image stitch showing more of the area the falls are in.

Remember this fall? Posted last week I think.
This is the environmental shot.
I took 15 shots=3 rows of 5 shots all handheld, then stitched in ICE.
Then I blended in the individual shot of the falls. Happily
all images were shot with the 35mm lens so the perspective
remained the same.

I had to downsize the image to 50mb before Flickr would allow the upload.
The original was over double that size.

These falls 2 hours from the house are 150 feet tall. A bit of a walk to get there.
Burgess Falls.

Just to put this in context with MM'S latest (hope that's okay MM)

Yes it's very beautiful area. Really quite stunning.
Sounds like a fair amount of work to get this together.
Thanks for posting.

Absolutely beautiful set of images.
Captured them well.
Really encapsulates the landscape in digital form.

Thank you VERY much.. I wasn't sure if they were too processed or not. I liked them, but I'm new to processing..... Thanks again!!

All commentators can only speak from where they are at, but I am not a fan of processing for processing sake.
I also like water to look like water. Particularly rivers and creeks and flowing water.
the eye doesn't see a sheet of water that flows over a landscape (in flood yes), it has texture, form, life and doesn't need to be subdued to the place where its just a draped sheet.
So please (anyone) read these comments in context of where I'm coming from.

I've sat and watched a lot of water in my life, and walked the landscapes in their virgin state, and to be able to watch a scene unfold before you in photos and feel immersed into that scene is rather special and often not the case for some photographs.

Your's fits that latter., It takes me right into that scene and one can almost hear the sounds as the water babbles and swishes across the rocks.
Azathoth's and MediceMan's (and others) above does that too.

But, you need to suit your needs, not someone's ideals from a land far away.
