A couple more....

Lovely series. Really nice composures.
Beautiful colours.

Agree with your sentiments on waterfalls.
Edit.
308, I mentioned elsewhere about the photos ability to take the viewer, drawing them into the very essence of the landscape,
Loving waterfalls and loving to photograph them can be two things.
A photograph that helps you feel part of the scenery is added frosting to the photo.
That second one, from the angled shot looking up the cascades has that attribute, as does the next with the movement and clear beautiful colours of the water.
Maybe I'm biased as I'm sympathetic to the cause, but I'm sure it's not isolated to just those that know what these beautiful places are like first hand.

Keep posting and let's all enjoy.

Agree. Great series of falls photos. All. Especially like the comps in the first and the second to last from your two posts.

Thank you for the kind words once again. There is something calming about waterfalls and gentle streams in the forest. I'm glad you're enjoying them. And I truly do appreciate your comments. I hoping to go back in a couple weeks once the colors start changing more. Its a six hour drive, so it may not happen, but that's the plan.

Thanks again.

Thanks David. This is one of my passions and the fact that others enjoy them makes it even better.
Thanks again.

Had a yen to try long exposure for a while. Haida ten stop (I think). Maraetotara Falls. Years ago there was a treatment plant - for electricity I assume. Considered one of the iconic images of Hawkes Bay.

Loving these waterfalls. I've had my fill of chasing birds so I'm now chasing waterfalls. Here is a shot I took a couple weeks ago of the tallest waterfall in MN, right on the Canadian border. It's at Portage State Park and called High Falls.

That's a nice fall.
Interesting water, looks pretty turbid. Is that normal, or run off from logging, farming activity?

Beautiful scene.

The more I look at this, the more I love it!!! This, in my opinion, is the PERFECT scene. I could hang a hammock and lay there all day. You captured it perfectly!!
