Waterfall in every valley of the Ko'olau Mountain on the Island of Oahu. The rain cleared up just long enough for me to snap some photos.

As the shutter was opening the wind started blowing some branches in front of my lens. I like the effect it ended up having.

While Spring has official begun, there is still a lot of snow in Rocky Mountain National Park! My wife and I trekked up to The Pool and then on to Fern Falls. Shortly after leave The Pool, the snow infused itself into our gorgeous Spring day trek. Wish I had remembered to bring the Kahtoola ice-spikes, for that added surety of traction during the trek from The Pool to Fern Falls!

Is there still access to Mosbrae? Where is the first falls?

Got there just by walking along the train tracks...not any legal route though...first one is in Marin county, the 'trail' is super neglected though, doesn't seem like there has been any effort to maintain it in years, I read a website on secret Marin waterfalls written in 2005, and the guy then couldn't make it to the falls because of the overgrowth

My visit to Mosbrae was also via the railroad, but I had read the path was closed off. Good to know it is open. Do the falls in Marin have a name?

yeah, i went in october, but it seems like people are checking in there on instagram every week or so, so i imagine it's still open...water level looks a lot higher than when i was there

the marin falls is morses gulch falls...you can find a few things on it about the trail, but it's a lot worse than what they say...unless it's a recent posting...the hardest parts of the trail, are just finding a way into the woods in the beginning, and then the end where it's pretty much gone...i'm thinking i will go again soon, as there was actually more water than i thought there would be.

which leads me to a question, how do you guys deal with spray from the falls? i feel like i'm always trying to get a bit closer, and then the spray is getting all on the lens, and if i don't notice it while shooting, i will when i get home with all the dots
