Just found these supposedly new filters from B+W for 2011. Seems aimed to compete with the Hoya HD's. I would love if these cleaned as easily as the Hoyas. Anyone seen these or tried them yet?

http://www.bhphotovideo.com …mm_XS_Pro_Digital_MC.html (external link)

Its available in multiple sizes but I don't see it available yet on the known cheaper websites.

I have the 67mm. Been cloudy lately, haven't had the chance to play with it outdoors.

I had to pay extra for a small company to special order it.

One of the big companies just blew me off when I asked about it.

I'll try to answer questions you have about it.

BTW, how do I post pictures here?

You got the "Nano" version as opposed to just the normal Kaeseman? How easily do fingerprints clean from it? Can you just use a microfiber cloth?

Yes. I'm new here, long-time lurker, first-time poster. How do I post a picture here?

It says XS-Pro DIGITAL KSM C-POL MRC nano 67 B+W MADE IN GERMANY around the front.

To tell you the truth, I cringe to even think about touching my lenses/filters with my bare finger.

I think I read on the website that you're supposed to use a moist lens tissue to clean it.

It didn't come with any instructions, just a box with a plastic container.

It says www.schneiderkreuznach.com/fotofilter (external link) on the box.

I got that brand for my 16-35. Maxsaver had a great deal and it's new condition was superior to those I had handled from B&H and Odorama.

Can you link to it on maxsaver? I have yet to see it there.

I got the brand, not that specific size. Mine was 82mm. And it was a couple weeks ago.

As in, you got B+W or you got a new B+W XS-Pro Nano? If you actually got the nano version please link to it regardless of size.

Shiny black box with silver foil lettering and the "Premium" written down the side. They sure know my weaknesses.

Moreso the fact that they are advertising 8 layer coating of which the outside is designed to be very easy to clean. When I bought a Hoya Pro1 I gave up on the thing soon after I got it because I couldn't get it perfectly clean. I literally gave it away in a lens sale. I like my Hoya HD's but would like B+W for the quality. This appears to get me the cleaning benefit but the B+W quality.

Might be selling my KSM CPL and pick up one of these!
