I hope someone know what could be the problem.

When I launch PS CS5 32bits all the menus are grey.. I have to change the workspace or open the history tab or something to get all the menus under File active again..

This problem was also when it was a clean install, but at that time I only solve it leaving the workspace as essentials, if a change the workspace the problem was there again. So i leave it in essentials. But now I deleted all the workspaces under C:\Users\Carlos\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings and this doesnt solve the problem as before !!

Any Idea ???

I'm runing updated version 12.0.4

Most functions are unavailable for editing 32 bit images so you will have to convert to 16 bit. Anything that you would want to do to a 32 bit is still available. Very rarely would you need to work with a 32 bit image. About the only time I could really think it would be necessary is when working with HDR Pro, and even then once finished if you want to continue in PS CS5 you will have to convert it to 16 bit.

When you open a Raw image via ACR you will notice you don't have the option to open it in 32 bit mode.

Thanks well i was refering to 32 bits version of Photoshop, not editing a 32bits image heheh

But anyways the problem is now solved !! It was my Nik color efex plug-in. It seems that Nik plug-ins make photoshop have a weird behavior.
