Bluebird update - Nesting 2011-1

Hi all,

We're a bit late getting back here, but we want to report that Missy and Ben fledged their first brood of the season (5 nestlings) on April 30th. All the babies flew wonderfully well and straight to the safety of the trees on their first attempts. We're very happy of course and hope to have some nice closeup pictures of all the new fledges pretty soon. Meanwhile, here are our proud parents...

Neat report Kenn...with some very nice shots as well.
Although I don't have any nests that close I look forward to all the different younguns showing up in my yard too.
