to quote Roger of lensrentals:

"With us (or any of the several other excellent online rental sites) the rental time is time in your hands. Shipping doesn't count as part of the rental. Plus you can use the POTN5 code (type it in the instructions box when you check out) and get 5% off just because you hang out here "

I just placed an order through lensrentals.com for a 135L for 5 days, hoping to get it by tomorrow. I will post back on my experience.

Has anyone used rentglass.com? Per their advertised prices, I could rent a Canon 10-22 for two weeks for $77.56 (including shipping and liability protection) whereas the same would cost $106.75 at lensrentals.com

Any good/bad interactions with rentglass.com?

Never have used them, but judging by their prices compared to the top 3 rental houses, and their stock (which looks like they are currently out of the 10-22 as well as many other common lenses), I'm not sure I would even try.

Like I said in my previous post, IMO price isn't everything, but I do know to some people, it is. Go with who you think will work the best, but reputation is a nice thing to have, especially considering the price of the equipment that you are renting.

Another vote for lensrentals from me. I found them when I stumbled across an article of Roger's about front element "scratches." (external link) I stuck around because I thought the site was hilarious (the FAQ page is quite amusing). Over the last year I've rented the 17-40, the 70-200 2.8 non IS, one of the Sigma fisheyes, the 16-35 (courtesy of the lens lotto ... hope they do that again next winter!), and the 300 f/4 with 1.6x tc. It's really a great way to try out lots of glass.

Some clicking occurred, a few lenses were involved, that's about all I know ...
