Can you guys CC my use of studio light and background please. It's my second session and just trying to see what I'm missing.... I used 2 norman strobes with the 800w pack, each on a seperate channel. Strobe camera left shot through an umbrella , and strobe camera right shot through an umbrella softbox.

I think the first one is too bright. You also need to watch the shadows - in the first, the woman is casting shadows onto the man. IN the second, her hair is leaving a shadow on her face. It looks like your lighting is pushed too far to the sides.

You'll be late for everything because the light was right and the action was good (magoosmc)

As far as the shadow in the first you could have the male move forward just a bit and you could also use a fill card to help with the shadows.
The lighting on the second looks good to me but I agree it is a bit tight. I may would back off the power of the primary light and center it a little more, the right side of his face is a bit hot and shadowed on the left.
You could also recover some of this in Lightroom.

Cropping - if the images are for prints you need some space for cropping of different sizes without destroying the image.

Yes, you need to pull back on your composition.

That way you can crop in easily.
