FYI...BestBuy has the 7D Kit for $1594.99+tax. I'm sure the other stores will start dropping their prices.

Thanks, still sitting outside, weather has turned cold and it rained a little last night. Plus the UPS update changed the deliver date from Monday to they don't know when it will be at my door. Biggest problem I'm having right now is thinking about all the others I have read about people paying extra for fast shipping and going nuts waiting for the UPS guy to show up. Now I am one of those of guys looking out the window every hour.:o:lol:

Suggestions welcome.

I see you were here while the big 7D preorder thread was going on in Sep 09. Did you happen to follow that thread? There were dozens of people giving daily updates of their order status and tracking info. ;)

No I didn't follow that thread and I'm only teasing about waiting for my camera to show up. I realize that delays and missed dates are part of real life and things just happen. Though I will be real happy when it finally does get here, at least until I start reading the manual.

Have you downloaded the manual? I learned a long time ago to download and read manuals while waiting for gear to arrive. Makes it much easier once you get it.

You don't need to print it. Just read it on your computer screen. I never print mine or open the hard copies.
