Some graffiti I found in Bisbee, Arizona. I usually bump up the saturation a little bit in my pictures, but this time I actually had to tone it down. This wall was bright red! (BTW, this was supposed to say "No Parking".)

I'm impressed it was in English. Bisbee is only 20 or so miles from the Mexico border. :D

It never occurred to me that it would only take one more letter to make it Spanish. I just wasn't thinking, I guess... :)

Bisbee was remarkably clean. I only saw one other graffito in town. The "No President" was on the back side of a building by a small back road branching off the main street through town. The other was in a tiny alleyway -- so narrow only foot traffic could get through.

The angle makes it kind of hard to see. It's that blob on the right side wall. (Oops, I just noticed there's a squiggle on the meter box, too.) Other than these marks, the rest of the town sparkled.

i'd really love to see this image slightly rotated to straighten it out

and

i'd do some selective coloring w/ a few bricks or something to make it stand out

Ain't gonna happen...

Selective coloring is so overdone, and almost never done well (IMO). It isn't my cup o' tea, and probably never will be.

Of course... My aunt still teases me about the time I told her some 15 years ago: "I will NEVER buy a computer that uses a mouse!"   I try to keep that in mind when I use the word "never" online.

As for rotating the picture, you're right. I should have, but didn't notice. Bisbee is so mountainous and full of angles, my left foot was probably a foot higher than my right when I took that picture. It's damn near impossible to keep the camera level in that town!

I agree Lonnie, if the camera captures pretty much what I see, than I'm leaving it alone. " what ya see is what ya get."  I try to do as little PS as possible. of course I'll not say NEVER.

Yes ACDC, it is an art and some of these kids have an awsome talent... it's just too bad they'd rather waste it making our cities look like #$&* than putting it to good use and actually making some $$ at it. I grew up with a kid who used to do graffitti and now he's working for a sign company making real good $$.
