I’m afraid my flash 580EX is about to go out on me, but I would like to hear what some of you think before I go buy a new one… I’m having inconsistent exposures now… with the same settings and everything (same shot) some pictures will be over exposure and others under… could if be that the flash is going out… now it’s over 5 years old and has been a work horse for sure.

Thanks,
William

How fresh are the batteries and are you "runnin+gunnin" faster than the ready rate of the flash? Been there and done that.
