EDIT: Below are a couple more. The processing on #3 is still different from my usual, but it's not quite as "soft" as the first two. #4 is more typical of my usual processing. btw, you might remember the girl from her first birthday party last summer (see #5). I'd appreciate any feedback.

I just finished up a session with these cousins. We took a variety of solo shots, shots of them together, and shots with their respective moms. They're at that age where all they want to do is run around, so I definitely got a work out!

I have so many more images to get to, not only from this session, but many others! It's been a busy season. But I wanted to start by sharing these two images. I treated these differently than my usual processing.

Hopefully I can add some more photos soon! As always, I appreciate your comments!

Tim

I love these, Tim!! They still look really natural even with the different processing that you did that gives it such a spring-y warm feel. Really really nice. And I also love that pop of color from those flowers behind the girl. They are some very cute kids! :)

Melissa...thank you! Yes, these are two cute cousins...and active!

Becky...really glad you like these! You always seem to make comments that parallel what goes through my mind when I'm editing! Thanks!

Lovely! I like them a lot! May I ask, what were the camera settings for these?

You caught the spirit of the two children there.

That is what makes these such good shots. :-)

Thank you all very much!

marmatt1218...the first shot was f/2.5, 1/200. The second shot was f/2.8, 1/500. Both taken with 5DmkII and 135L plus off camera flash.

They are gorgeous as always Tim. I do like the processing, although not your usual style.

Your other work simply screams "Tim Park". These are different, and upon first glance I don't immediately recognize it as "your work". If that makes any sense at all.. lol.. I almost think your style defines a little part of your trademark or who you are. People become accustomed to knowing what to expect.. is that good or bad? I dont' know.... lol.. just food for thought maybe...

Happy Friday!

Hey Kristy, thanks for these comments! I really appreciate your feedback. Even as I was editing these, I wondered if I would show them to my clients or just show them my standard ones. If I do, I almost feel like I need to give them a disclaimer (hahaha!). Maybe I'm in this experimenting phase, but in the end, I know I'll always return to my roots! It's so true what you said about people coming to expect a certain look!

Isn't developing different styles just part of growth though?
