Just a quick comment. I worked for a small air cargo outfit in Fairbanks, Alaska for a while. They had a few C-47's, a DC3 and a Lockheed L-188. I can say that pulling and replacing a jug on a two bank radial outside in -30°F can be an adventure.

Pulling a cylinder on a single row in a nice warm hangar can be an adventure, I think outside in -30°F may be a little too adventurous for my blood. ;)
