Recently Consumer Report Magazine selected Microsoft's "Picture It for Digital Photos" as their favorite in it's class. Has anybody tried it? If so, what do you think?

I read that article, too. The only comment I have to make about it is that it seems like when they were doing their "testing" to rate the software, they were primarily concerned about the average Joe being able to use it for simple things like removing red eyes from photo, cropping, and the likes. Therefore, unless that's the reason you're looking at this software (in other words, not interested in using advanced features), I'd be weary of relying on their rating to pick a photo editor. Did you notice that Photoshop and PhotoImpact was rated on the bottom of the list?

For those looking for software that offers more advanced features and functions, I'd look at their ratings in reverse. :)
