Otter Cliffs as seen from Boulder Beach, Acadia National Park. I'd love to see this place in the sun some day....

The fog (cloud?) makes for a very dramatic scene. I like it a lot. I suspect the weather you found may be typical for this time of year. Of course, the crowds are a nuisance in the summer.

I'm sure its pretty in the sunlight, but what you have captured is really moody! I like it a lot! Especially the softness of the moving water against the tack sharp rocks in the foreground. Nice job!

Scottes, I too like this shot as is. I'm sure I'd like it at sunrise/sunset as well :)

Nice foggy shot - you captured the water very well.

Beautiful atmospheric shot--you certainly made lemonade out the "lemon" of foggy weather.

Thanks for the comments folks! I'm glad you like this shot - I spent 20 minutes wiping sea mist of all my gear, and the comments make that worthwhile!

Tom, if you can't see the otter then I can't help you. Have you calibrated your monitor lately?

Okay, I see it now. It was wearing sunglasses, and that threw me off. Thanks for clearing that up.

I think the fog works. Looks like a nice place to do photography.

How are the colors coming this year?

I like the mood in the image and the slow shutter speed effect.
