My first photo booth

Just trying to make some decisions. I have about a month to plan this. I was hoping to go with a white background but I noticed on another thread (not sure if here or not) to get that white background look the person had two flashes with umbrellas and two flashes for the white backdrop. I only have two 580 flashes I’ll use with umbrellas so that is not going to happen this time around. If I get another gig maybe I’ll pick up a couple of Yonguo flashes and two more receivers. Actually I could probably borrow a flash or two. One would be a Nikon but my cybersyncs won’t know the difference. I could spring for the receivers. Not sure how complicated to make this. I don’t have any concerns about setting up the lights but the simpler the better.

So what are my options? How much will the two flashes with umbrellas illuminate a white background? Not sure it needs to be pure white although that look is nice. Should I not worry about the background this time around? Any suggestions and perhaps a lighting diagram would be helpful.

Whatever you choose be careful of people wearing very light cloths in front of your white BG. Black or white, separation from the background should be considered.

Maybe run one light as main, reflect fill, use other for hair/rim? Let the white BG go to variations of gray according to the light?

I'll have to take that white separation into account. I am going to check the place out and maybe just not worry about it so much. FInd a suitable location and just work with it.
