Hi folks.. I have a XSi, for my real job I sometimes to take photos of a retail set. Its usally 4'wide x 7'high and I'll be standing at best 3.5 feet away. what would be the best lens to capture that rectangle with a minimum of distortion, be reasonable priced and be something I could use elsewhere. If it could cure world hun...nevermind 'bout that.
Point being, its not critical, I would just like to improve a power point presentation.
Thanks.

For an APS-C body, you would need 11mm FL in order to photograph 4.7' x 7.1' from a distance of 3.5' away. Now that you know the FL requirement you need to assess the IQ characteristics of the various available lenses on the market.
