I got myself a S95 last Christmas and I'm pretty thrilled with it. Aside from using it for pictures, I shoot video too.

I have turned on the wind filter for this camera but I still find the wind sounds unbearable to withstand. Is there any particular homemade solutions for these tiny built-in mics? I heard putting tape on those mic holes make it better but does it actually work?

covering the holes with tape will kill the wind noise, as well as most high-frequency sounds. Try it, won't hurt anything.
