Userstyles not applying in video?

I've recently found out about custom userstyles and began taking advantage of Technicolor and Marvel Cine with my T2i. I'm having some issues though.

The userstyles don't seem to be applying in video mode. They do work when I'm in Manual mode though (and use live-view). But they only work for pictures.
I'm confused because the ones I installed are not changing the colors and range at all.
But styles like Portrait or Landscape work fine.

Might I add I have Magic Lantern running on my camera like a charm, but I don't see how that could be an issue.

EDIT: So, I figured it out from this site. I guess it was registering the, in this case, CineStyle style into the User Def. X spot. n00b mistake. :o

At least, someone else can possibly find this and help themselves.

ok, so:
If in still mode you upload it into user define 1 then back in video mode go to
menu/ picture style/enter(set)/user def. 1/display/enter(set)/and arrow up or down to find the marvel preset/menu.

BTW I've done it and it works!

Switch to video, and while you are in liveview, hit pictures styles.

When you switch around pictures styles in that mode (it should overlay) it will auto-update the look while you cycle through styles. Try that and let me know what happens.

Only the basic styles are showing changes.
From User. Def 1 - 3, they're all the same.

But I uploaded 3 different styles which all change when in LiveView photo mode.
Not in Video though.

Take them off and upload them again - I see drastic switches between my kodachrome, advanced flat, and technicolor styles.

Sounds like there's an error.

Will do.
Also, are there any userstyles you recommend?
I have Technicolor, Marvels, and one dubbed Veliva from cinema5D.

Ive been using technicolor for everything lately, as it does more than just shift stuff around, it stops highlights from blowing out, and darks from clipping better than most.

I use kodachrome when I want to do quick stuff and not worry about grading. Only reason I have advanced flat on my camera is because I haven't taken it off yet haha

If you are going to color grade/correct, there's no reason to not shoot cinestyle as far as I understand.

Well, I would use a style or to to get a starting point hen tweak with some Magic bullet Mojo and/or Looks in post.
Just to refine the colors more.
Kodachrome sound interesting, I'll look more into it.

I've tried almost everything to no avail.
The styles just aren't applying to video mode. :(

Can someone please help me?

EDIT: See OP for fix. Heh.
