? If not, bookmark them and get on their newsletter mailing list. They recently had a sale on Gold Fibre (don't know if still active,), and have sales on it quite often at very low prices.
Dan,
Thanks for the tip and the recommendation.
Also, I checked with a UV Wood's lamp, and indeed the Gold Fibre Silk does have OBA's, but less than the HM Fine Art Pearl for example, which really lights up. The Ilford shines at about half that. I've also noticed on several websites and from Ilford support that the Fibre Silk has low amounts of OBA's.
However, when comparing fading on the Aardenberg site, fading is actually fractionally less in the Gold Fibre Silk than the non-OBA papers such as the HM Photo Rag Pearl and Baryta. The detail with the Ilford is noticably better to my eye in a test photo comparison, and the colors truer to my calibrated monitor. Both beat out the Epson Hot Press Fine Art paper, as far as I'm concerned, for detail and color.
Whoever suggested getting sample packs and testing each paper was right, and I've found the one I like best.
