if i want to sharpen every image and fill in some lights in every image in a folder...say 50 images...can i do it as a batch? or do i have to do each pic individually? if i can do it as a batch in light room 3.3 please let me know...thanks!

In the Develop module you can select all the images you want to apply the adjustments to. Click the first image thumbnail, then ctrl click each additional image you want to add to the selections, or if they are all in order click the first one then go to the last and shift click.
Make the adjustments you want to make and they will be applied to the first image of all the selected. At the bottom Right of the Develop module is the "Sync" button. That will open a panel/window for you to specify everything you want applied to all the images, and then just click Syncronize and watch your adjustments get applied to all the selected images.
Be careful when applying adjustments such as Sharpen or fill light to multiple images. Not every image requires the same adjustment.

Sync in Develop module will give each image the same "slider setting". So if you already applied changes to some images, I'd go to the Library module, adjust the images you want to alter, then add fill there: That's relative: It adds to an existing value.
