Just doing some simple portraits...any tips appreciated.

I took a look at your image in LR3 and it looks to be .6 UE. I cropped it vertically (attached). Overall, nice image. JMHO.

I like the original corp but find the tall piece of grass directly behind her distracting; however, it seems to work in Dano_nav's crop. The increased exposure also helped.

The original crop works well with the extra space. Frankly, I think your shot is very nice!

I like the b/w. The only thing I might suggest might be to clone out the tall grass behind her....but only to shorten it.
