Hey guys,

Gonna shoot a metal show this weekend, and had one quick question. For you guys shooting nightlife/clubs/concerts where you can use flash, do you use any diffuser/softbox?

I will be using the flash handheld in my right hand (or on a short monopod recommened in another thread), but I am wondering how many are using bare flash?

I have one of these:

I have been messing around with it, and its good at not blowing out the skin with highlights....

So...to use it or not too...

I haven't used the one you linked to but when I looked at these before, all the information on here pushed me toward a bounce card instead.

I got the small rogue flashbender now. Haven't had a chance to really use it yet but a tests around the house came out pretty well.
The bounce cards are more flexible (no pun intended) and give you a larger light source

Yep I have the Honl system 8" bounce card/snoot just like this system, but where Ill be shooting the show I am trying to keep my flash hand as low profile as possible.
