This was more than an interesting shoot to say the least. We had rain to deal with, which wasn't bad at all, added a nice touch to a few pics. We did two locations the first was the train tracks, the second was an abandoned house and then the yard out front. We drove down the lane way and stopped before we thought it would be too wet. Well we didn't stop in the right place. As we were trying to leave I was backing up and got my front wheel completely bogged in the mud, as I look up to see how Lindsay and TeKapua were doing I saw mud flying from their vehicle too.
After sometime of trying to get out and figuring what to do we walked to the road and noticed the neighbor had a big truck. We asked for help and he gladly came over. He pulled my car out no problem, but on the other vehicle he ended up getting bogged in the mud himself. He said no worries and in 15 min was back with an excavator to pull the truck then the car. We laughed nearly the entire time this was all going down so it turned out to be an awesome memory.

Please let us know what you think of the pictures or the story! CC is more than welcome.

The #1 thing I feel is that these are all about her. Except for the first and last, she's the star. There is one that his head is completely turned in the opposite direction. He feels more like an accessory :(

I am super cool n' stuff.

It is funny you say that because when I posted these and looked at the 8 I chose I notice the theme. However we got a ton of shots where he is right in there too I just chose these 8 out of about 40 5 star pictures. thank you though. Did you like them though?

The other thing is he could sit still he constantly was kissing her neck trying to get her to laugh. He preferred to make her laugh. he warned us that he gets like that in front of a camera.

for our next shoots though it will be good to keep in mind that we don't accidentally do this without realizing it at the time.

I think these are well done. I'm not crazy about the processing, but I guess that's the typical look these days. The light source bothers me on the last shot on an otherwise nice shot.

they are all really good pictures in general, but as for engagement photos, i dont think some of them capture the moment too well. great job overall

Could you expand on what you mean by this? How do they miss the moment? Just curious what you mean, thanks!

like 3,4, and 6 just dont express much a mood as the rest of the shots.

in other words. great stuff and i would use everything else but those 3.

I actually think 6 might be my favorite. Really cool idea here. I would have liked it better though if she was not acknowledging the camera, more candid. The picture says that they can be happy through anything as long as they have each other!
