Rolling hills of Oregon

This is a shot I took today in Northern Central Oregon... It had rained all day, and normally brownish looking hills became dark orange. I thought this would make an interesting picture, especially considering that this area receives very little rain, and generally rarely looks like this...

I like this shot a lot but it seems a bit flat, probably due to the lighting conditions that day. Perhaps try a minor boost in contrast to see how that would look? I'm not sure if it'll make it better or not but would love to see it anyways.

I definitely like the meandering road, the reds and the moody sky. Have to agree, a slight contrast boost would do it wonders, and maybe a hair lighter. But those are just minor nits. I like the shot.

Thanks, guys! I agree with your contrast comment, and will work on this to see if I can get a little more light out of it by boosting the contrast. I will post it if it works. I appreciate your critique.
