Did you think about those mini tripods? Got one for about $20 and when I absolutely want to carry nothing, that's the one I take with me. Only 1ft high though, so not usable in all situations.

I was looking online for one for a friend and didn't find a source in a Google search on Glottos. Any ideas? Dana

I thought I had seen something like this at OfficeMax, but looking on their website yielded only a long version. But I thought Ambico sounded familiar (from that site). Then I looked at BHPhoto.com:

Just looked down the list for BHPhoto "mini tripod" and they have a "Giotto" (logo LOOKS like Glottos" - check second letter). Follow this link... http://www.bhphotovideo.com …CatID=0___SID=F52C9F1FEF0 That's IT!! I should have thought to look on B&H's site.

The Ambico appears to have VERY short extensions, and only one per leg. They are friction fit only and we could only extend two of them. It was actually too hard for me because of overall muscular weakness.
