I'm about to return my YN-468, but I want to make sure I'm not using it wrong. In low-light situations, using the AF-assist beam, it often takes 10-15 seconds of hunting for my camera to focus. It's usually faster to just manually focus and then allow my camera to "correct" me if I'm off.
This behavior exists with all my lens: Sigma 30, Canon 50/1.8 and Canon 85/1.8
Does anyone else use a YN-468 with a 60D? I'm thinking if this unit is going to give me trouble, I might as well buy a 430exii…
