he got slaughtered because of his attitude of entitlement. The company was willing to take the product back, but that wasnt good enough. Now they went above and beyond to make the whiny customer happy. B&H is great!
Actually, I do not care if I am "slaughtered" or not. Yes, I do have a feeling of entitlement. I am dealing with a business. I am the Customer. I am this business' lifeline. Without me they will have none. And that's why many stores have the price protection guarantee, matching prices, etc. I would like to believe that B&H matched the prices for everyone because I raised the stink, and now this price is available for everyone.
We live in a real world. I will lose my livelihood if I do not make my customers happy, whoever and whatever they are. B&H know this. And they know that I will go back to them for my next lens and camera.
In any way, it was fun.
