Wow, that matches Canon's refurb price. Good find.

This offer is not longer valid.The price has returned back to $400.

I tried to place an order and the product was essentially out of inventory. I could not select a shipping method other than shipping to local store. When I attempted to do this, the system would not allow me to ship the camera to a local Best Buy.

I called their 800 number and was told I was out of luck.

Wow, that's crazy that it went back up in price in less than one day.
And yeah, there was no way to order it online and have it shipped to a store. Two stores near me had them in stock (one each), but online it showed Not Available when I tried to ship it to them.

Had to go into the store and have them price match the online price. I guess others got lucky and got price matched at some other online retailers like B&H - but that seemed to have stopped once they realized Best Buy didn't have any in stock.

I still came out ahead with the Best Buy fiasco.

I did a search for a G12 and noticed the price was $399.99 (!). I placed it in my cart and the price went back up to $499.99. Called the 800 number and they honored it.

So...thank you Best Buy for deciding for me between the S95 or G12!

Holy jesus...! the g12 is $513 new on amazon, wow! Can't believe two (three?) months back it was going for $415...I had a g12 that was used for about two weeks that I tried to sell on craigslist, managed to get rid of it for $400 back then after listing it over and over for two weeks, wow!

I missed out on the New Egg black friday deal for $300 and have been kicking myself since. I usually wake up pretty early and check those kind of deals on a well known site but missed the $320 BB deal because I woke up really late that day. Hopefully it will go down soon.
